Street art is a unique and colorful art form and can be found in all kinds of nooks and crannies in cities all over the world. Capturing art in the streets in photographs can be tricky because these urban art pieces are in public spaces, that are busy and usually filled with a decent amount of traffic. Sometimes you include the people and sometimes, you don't.

Excellent. My first 'real' learning class. Very different from classes I took before. Manisha is a phenomenal teacher, who took us through the basics of watercolors and I had so many 'aha - new learning unlocked' moments throughout the class. Not only did I learn to paint a tree, I learnt the whys and how's of colours, papers, brushes. I am so glad this showed up on my Facebook feed.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable session for beginners. Manisha is a gracious teacher with that rare combination of massive talent as an artist and the ability to create a warm, engaging environment for learners. We learned the basics of paper, paint and brushes, then enjoyed some practice exercises before diving in to apply our new knowledge by painting a landscape. I eagerly look forward to future sessions!

Surrounded by a mix of cultures, desert landscapes, and cityscapes, her creativity found new life in the gentle, expressive strokes of watercolor.

She loves how watercolor allows her to stay loose and spontaneous, capturing fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Manisha believes that art is for everyone, not just to admire but to experience. She shares this joy through her classes and community workshops, especially encouraging children and young artists to follow their creative path. For Manisha, art is more than a personal passion 2014it 2019s a way to connect, belong, and express emotions that words often can 2019t. The bright values in this piece really grab your attention, since they are against a rather drab interior window setting. With ?old country? vibes, simplicity of design, and use of bold colors, it works to create interest and appeal.

Great art doesn?t have to have a lot of bold colors to be appealing. Unsaturated pieces can make you pause and study the piece, seeing the beauty in its design and message instead of bright hues and bold values. This is my goal with this piece.

Title or Location: Atlanta Streetcar
I am a disabled artist located in the Atlanta Georgia region. I did this painting experimenting with how various colors can blend and work together. I wanted to pull the viewers eye into the center of the streetcar then having them moving their eye around to catch the impression of the street, cars and buildings in Atlanta and their various colors.
